Parish Mission Statement
We, the people of the Catholic Parish of Our Lady and St John, in the Spirit of the Lord, and following His command, commit ourselves to building Communion and proclaiming the Gospel of Love in the wider community.

Mass and other services are celebrated in both of our churches, i.e. St. John the Evangelist in South Place, Lee-on-the-Solent and Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception in Bells Lane, Stubbington. You can find the times and other details about them in our weekly Newsletter.
God bless you,
Father Francis Sasinowski
Our Parish has a Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) in place to assist Father Francis in the work of parish planning, investigating, discerning and proposing practical solutions about all things pastoral.
The PPC meeting minutes are available in the porch of both our Churches along with a photo board to help you identify members, who are: Father Francis and Deacon Andrew Collins plus eight current lay members: Christine Hunter (Chair) Andrea Titcombe (Minutes Secretary) Marjorie Cumpsty (Parish Administrator) Anne Dowie, Trisha Vassallo, Helen Robertson, Annie Robertson, Peter Tribe.
The PPC has provided parish support recently in a variety of ways, including:
Organising label Sundays,
A volunteers thank you event,
Parish social events,
Facilitating Deacon Andrew visiting a local school during their religious education sessions,
Organising a parish volunteer job fayre,
A wild flower seed sowing event,
Providing support, welcome and refreshments for Christian Unity week, funerals and the village Summer Fayre,
Organising redemptorist Mass sheets and a new free standing notice board by the general public footpath,
Providing daffodils for parishioners and visitors for Mothers Day,
We also had a 'skip week end' where we cleared out Father Francis' garage and sheds to allow more storage space for future use!
If you would like to be involved or if you have any ideas or suggestions to help enrich the quality of parish life, please do let us know by contacting one of the PPC Members.
